Find something to keep your mind busy, perhaps a hobby that is easy to pick up and do whenever you're stressed. For example, I like to draw whenever I'm stressed and I frequently keep a sketchpad with me, but find something that works for you. It could even be a project that spans over a longer period of time to complete, something that you can set aside and return to every so often to work on during times of stress, something like a complex jigsaw puzzle. Often times it's just important to take your mind off of whatever is stressing you out.
