Try to do your work asap. I mean, if you still take the bus do as much as you can on the bus. The end of the day sucks, it just sucks and work is the last thing you want to do, but it's the first thing you have to do.

Plus videogames and being with friends feel a lot better when homework isn't shadowing over you all day.

procrastination is a serious hurtle in school; yuvesh is giving great advice. the only thing i'd ad to it is to try to make a game out of any kind of work. be a little selfish in your mentality; think things like how much better than everyone else you'd be for doing your work and how successful you'll be in the future (i know it sounds prickish but it works)

keep a set time everyday to do work, like between 5-6pm for example
in that time force yourself to do work. turn off you phone/pc/ps3/xbox/microwave
if you do work reward yourself by playing games if you don't cut yourslef
