A REALLY long time ago, before I even liked her that much, she confronted me and asked me if I knew anybody who had a bass for sale. I said no, and that was the end of the conversation. She told me one time while we were on a date that she did that because she wanted to get to know me because she's only ever seen me before. I asked her if that meant she liked me since then, she said "No, I just wanted to get to know you better." Was that absolute bullshit? Do people ever just see a random stranger they don't even know the name of and want to get to know them without being that interested in fucking them? Because it feels to me like she's liked me for a while. A little before we really got to know each other and I really liked her this much, she added me on Facebook, even though I had this bass conversation with her like A YEAR ago.

Yes. Girls don't think like guys. If a guy talks to a girl, their intent is often to fuck them. We are horny asses aren't we? A lot of times girl's will talk to a guy randomly just to see if they can make another friend. Happens to me all the time. Funny thing is, how mad you are getting about all of this. If she wasn't hot (I'm assuming she is) I bet you wouldn't give a fuck about her.
Same with me. If an ugly girl talks to me, I won't care. I won't give a fuck about her, or what she has to say unless it's important to me. Hot girl? Opposite.

And you're right, If she wasn't pretty (to a certain point) I wouldn't date her, but here's another thing. If I think a girl is hot, but I don't like her personality, I won't give a shit about her either. This girl I fell in love with, both her looks and her personality. I literally find her amazing.

She really wanted me to ask her to be my girlfriend, and made it really obvious, but I asked with literally 0 confidence. I guess you could say that would be an answer to your other comment.

I'm just kinda in the complete stranger zone again, which I wouldn't say is necessarily good, but it's an easier zone to get out of.

Comic and all, its true for the most part when it comes to guys randomly talking to girls. And no, HOW would a girl possibly like you before even speaking to you. She was interested in friendship, and MAYBE wondering where that friendship could go (relationship, maybe). Anyway she ended up not liking you.
