If you're somewhat experienced with computers and not a twat who refuses to use his brain you should get a macbook.

Why on earth would you want a macbook?

And why not keep your current one and get the damn mac too?

Well, I know that right now the impatient part of my brain is saying to get it, but I'm worried about regretting it later when it's too late.

Neither. Graduated both. Now I'm a full-on grownup with nothing to do with my free time. So I spend most of it on my computer. Up to this point I've been strictly loyal to non-Apple computers, but my friends and I want to get into making movies, and we've come to the conclusion that we need iMovie for that.

oh yeah, totally. I mean, the only reason I'd say no is because of the hassle of trying to relearn, but, again, you're out of school, so you have the time. Plus, I've heard a lot of good things about the new Flash stuff on the new MacBooks.

Oh no no no. I'm sorry, I wasn't clear, that was my bad. The only Macbook I'm even close to getting is an old used one that my IT friend collected from a school he works at. And while he didn't quote me a price, I am fairly certain that it is well below the normal cost of a Macbook, and most likely is a few years old at least.
