Try the pretties/uglies/specials/extras (although extras is kindof a subplot) series if you're into futuristic adventuristic sci-fi. Or Host (by Stephanie Meyer, don't judge the book by it's author) for the same feel.

Also the Max Ride series by James Patterson. Avian mutant bird kids with powers. Super awesome and well written.

If sci-fi horror is something you like the there's no finer read than the Horus Heresy novels.

are you meaning the name of book or are you meaning the author in Cyrano De Bergerac

I mean the book. I am aware there is a man by that name :)
All the names I've mentioned are titles of books.
