A friend of mine wants to move to LA to become a musician. He is a great guitarist, and knows how to play bass decently, and knows the very very basics of drums and keys. He has run into a lot of personal issues (mostly family problems, he is not doing very well in school, and it doesn't look like he's going to go to college), and he is seriously considering buying a car with money saved up from various jobs, and driving out to LA with his music gear and a few grand in his pocket. He doesn't know what else he's going to, all he knows is he wants to get away from this hell hole and shoot for something better... Honestly I don't blame the guy. I've considered it myself

So what do you think, FJ? Should he stay in our small farm town, or should he chase his dream and run away to LA?
