I feel so depressed. Now I've finished school, I'm in the process of joining the British Army. My friends decided to carry on with their education and now I'm left out. They'd all go round each others and hang out and then there's me. I feel like I don't exist. Just a speck of dust. I get so depressed I want to just curl up and vanish. Just disappear. It's not just my friends. It's everything. I feel like I'm invisible to everyone. The one girl I liked we were really close as friends. I asked her out and she said she didn't know how she felt. She kissed me, said she loved me and then she said she didn't want to be with me. Now, we never talk. It's going to sound strange, but I feel like shaving my head and just lay in the dark. I talk to my best friend every now and then just to see how he's doing and we keep in contact on Facebook. But he never invites me to meet up or anything. I just feel invisible, lonely.
it's hard
I guarantee you will have a good time at the army though
it makes men
you get to shoot guns and all that, get fit at the same time
just be patient the army is good times lad
I want you to listen to "What became of the likely lads"
comfort in sadness

"Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world."
Buddha.
Wherever you find solace, make sure what you hear is both true and kind. Best of luck, live long and prosper.

I'm waiting for my medical forms to get sent back from my doctor. Then I'll go to my local careers office for a quick interview and discuss what will happen next. I'll then attend a 2 day course at an Army development and selection center which is just 2 days of fitness and teamwork training and if I do good in that and pass I'll then go off for my initial training. Not sure how long it will take to get all this sorted out but soon I hope.
