So I'm friends with this girl, and she used to subtly drop hints that she found me attractive. She'd say things like "I'm not cute like you" or something girls say. Naturally I'd return the compliment in some way or another. Something cheesy like "Yer not too bad yerself" (because I'm the smarterest). Anyhoo, the hints have been less subtle as of recently. She would just outright say the most obvious things. At one point she said something along the lines of "I'd love to go out with you, but we never see each other (different states), so we can't, etc." I didn't expect anything else than that, so I got over it pretty much the day after she said that.

So today we were talking again, and she was saying things like "Tomorrow I'm going to give you a hug and kiss you" (she was in town), so naturally I said no considering the state of being over it and not particularly interested in her in that way. Later on, after she left town, she told me how cute she found me and other things along those lines. One would think that after someone says they do not want to pursue a relationship, they would stop saying things along those lines. I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to sound rude and just tell her to stop because it's not the nicest thing to tell someone to stop paying you compliments, but I'm kinda getting fed up with this game. Ideas?
