not really an apple fanboy, but the phone that I owe right now is a flip phone. yes. a flip phone. I have the money to buy a better type of phone, but my mom likes the flip phone because it's easy to use... and she doesn't want to bother with touchscreens.

Just get an android... basically the same as the iphone but it gets popular ipod/iphone apps at later dates. On the other hand, many apps that cost money on the iphone are free on android... unless u plan on jailbreakin your iphone... in any case, if u want a smartphone, ur not only limited to iphones, there are many more out there
