hey advice board, I need some help.
You see, I'm 15 years old, 16 in a couple of months. Where I live, that means you are legally an adult.
Turns out my friend's parents have decided to pick up their bags and move to Australia without him (He wanted to finish his school work and go to university here).
Because of this, his parents said he could keep the house, and the things in it, however they would not pay for living costs. This means that he needs to pay for everything.
Phone, heat, water, you name it.
With his current job, he won't be able to make it very long before he gets into trouble.
He's asked me to... well move in with him and help pay for bills.
My mother is happy for me to do it, and with both our jobs combined we can most likely make it until we both finish high school.
Im just not sure about it though.
To be honest I'm quite scared.
Then again what is there to be afraid of? I have my mother to fall back on who only lives 20 minutes away if things go tits up.
Fact is me and my friend have been bros since we can both remember.
Our mums took us to the same play group when we were 2, and since then we've been best friends. Never had a dispute thats lasted longer than 10 hours.
So advice board, do I move in with him in a couple of months or not?
