She said she loved me. She kissed me and said she felt something special. When I asked her if she would like to go out with me she said that she isn't ready for a relationship. Why would she do these things if she wasn't ever interested in a relationship?

I don't know either of you, but i'd guess she's just looking for a friend with benefits. It's stressful being in a relationship but it's not stressful just being casual.

Pushing her? I never pushed her. This went on for 5 months until I asked her to go out with me. Feeling so depressed. Do you think it's a lost cause with her and I've been 'friend-zoned'?

5 months is a hell of a long time. Now I don't know either you or her, but that doesn't sound good.


Whatever you do, don't bottle it up. Let her know exactly what you think, feel and want.
There's not much more you can do than that.

I did that for the whole 5 months. From the very start I told her how I felt and I meant every word. Not sure what else I can do apart from just forget it and try and move on.
