He's an avid gaming culture person, and he recognises how ****** up this thing is and he stands by his opinions about how it's a corruption of the gaming industry, and he's gaining massive support because he's not retarded and actually has his head screwed on properly, unlike his old counterpart Arin hanson (Egoraptor) who defended her on ******* stupid grounds. A few months back there was an event called GAME_JAM designed to be a reality show about an indie, well, game jam. Sponsored by Pepsi/Mountain Dew, Doritos, you get the idea. Polaris, Jontron's employer, was also involved, with the major concept being that established game developers like Zoe Quinn (and coincidentally one of the Five Guys) would get paired up with a youtube LP'er like Jon, and they'd separate into teams and compete.
Long story short, Zoe and Jon were on the same team and kept butting heads, to the point where the jew producer encouraged them to go full Jersey Shore. Jon pulled her aside and they talked it out, but there was obviously some bad blood.
