I agree with the point, but the argumentation is really stupid.
You need years of study to be able to operate surgery, to cook something more than burger and to be able to defend someone in a tribunal.

Only takes 5 mins to murder someone.
In America takes even less.

He's right, guys. You can't be a murderer until you've gone to murder school and gotten your murder degree. People who think they can be murderers after playing GTA are just posers.

if a =/= b, then c =/= d
Seems a bit faulty...

The way I see it is this:
I don't the actual term for it, but when it comes to works of art, there is a moral standard inherent within the art piece. In games, you are positively rewarded for, say, cooking well. In others, you are positively rewarded for killing random people on the street.

To be fair, most people can identify the difference between the morality of a videogame and the morality required in real life. But there come people who have a disconnect somewhere along the line. They may play so much they begin to unknowingly adopt a violent videogame morality somewhere along the line. They may have a grudge against someone who wronged them and playing a violent videogame affirms in their mind that it is acceptable and encourage to retaliate violently.

Violent games encourage violence. It's up to the player to responsibly react to their choice of entertainment.

you dan't need a fancy degree to be a murderer
you just need a sharp and/or heavy object

I dunno, have you ever played the first one? Pretty ******* close to murder in my book.

by that logic, those things can inspire you to try and be,,,
I'd say that videogames are a nice way to vent negative emotions. The desire to kick someone's ass until he bleeds to death is code in my genes. Thanks to videogames, I can satisfy this need without actually hurt anyone.

to be fair, being a murderer is much easier than being anything else he mentioned..
