so basically you can stop time and start moving backwards but you can't unstop time and you can't move forwards so if you stop moving backwards you're just sitting there in frozen time until you decide to move backwards again so no, you can't continue moving forward at a normal speed at will. You'll have to go on some sort of quest in frozen /backwards flowing space time to find some malevolent space deity for that.

because once you use your powers after pushing that button, you're stuck either going reverse or in park infinitely.
The only way you could stop is if at some point before you pushed the button, someone else pushed another button that gave them the power to go forward and backwords comes to save you by using some other method to reverse your pushing of the button (Or they create another button to remove your powers) [Also to address this subject: You can also only go forward in time if THEY go forward in time, because time is 1 universe, but as soon as time gets to the point where you started originally to go back, you will cause a time paradox as your physical entity will refuse to go forward in time because it does not exist past that point in time.]

From the way the sentence is worded, it sounds like once you push the button, the thing that gets sent back in time is your consciousness rather than your entire body. So when you move back in time, there won't be two of you, but rather you would be in your own body at whichever point you decide to move back to.
For example: If you are 25 now and you move back in time 10 years to when you were 15 then you'll just be 15 again but with all the knowledge that you gained over those 10 years.
This is actually one of the abilities that I want most. I mean think about it, you can head back in time and fix EVERY mistake you ever made. You can win the lottery whenever you want. You can spend forever learning how to play musical instruments, learning how to cure cancer, learning how to do virtually anything you want because you have the ability to essentially live for all eternity. The only downside is that its an eternity within the years that you would live on earth (practically one century). But with how everything is right now, I totally wouldn't mind.
