And the fact that an illegal who doesn't speak your language can do your job isn't something to scoff at, considering most anyone can do any entry level, part time job without having to speak the language, When I work my job at the restaurant, I know full well it's an insignificant job, but you know what? That job is to pay for school, beer, and rent. If I lost it tomorrow, I'd be more worried at what I'd do for money than ashamed that I lost such a "glamorous" job shaking chicken wings in a bucket to someone who only knows how to read the orders on the screen.

Additionally, due to the government being ****** up, they can file for welfare (fake SSN) and soon be able to get healthcare benefits. The really ****** up part is when they come over here just to have a kid so their child becomes a citizen.
Its not the individuals themselves, its the lack of regulation and anonymity of foreign illegals that causes problems. Look at the crime rate and drug abuse and Cartel/gang related violence in border cities. That isn't because a bunch of hard working people registered with the government and found jobs and are now working on becoming citizens, its because anyone who can run jump or swim is getting to America and have a virtually unregulated opportunity to behave however they want to behave.

donatelo (01/29/2014) [-] trust me, mexican immigrants do not pursue much government aide...i live in a mexican community (my parents were immigrants themselves) and hardly any take aide. its a cultural thing. also, in a recent study (i will look for the citation if needed *groan*)mexicans were the most hardworking people. so, its not as if every mexican is in a cartel or supports them (search mexican militias) and not every mexican is lazy (see report).

Its the lawless portion of the immigrants that needs to be regulated. if there is no regulation, then the lawlessness prevails. Obviously the majority want a better life and a chance to make something for their children. Immigration needs reform. Easier registration, fingerprinting and background checking at the border, and harsh enforcement of those who attempt to circumvent the checkpoints.

Here's what everyone sees as the problem. If theirs more people to take the ****** jobs then theirs more competition for the good jobs. People aren't upset about losing out on a job working on a farm or something, they're upset that someone they would have been competing for a good job who would of ended up with a bad job now doesn't have the option to have the bad job so competition is more fierce for the good ones.
With that said I hope I didn't have an anti immigrant tone, I'm a huge promoter of immigration, in Canada our population is declining so if we don't take in more immigrants we can't sustain economic development.
Here's what everyone sees as the problem. If theirs more people to take the ****** jobs then theirs more competition for the good jobs.
