I mean, yeah it's an advert, but it's enjoyable, I generally enjoy every bit of Rick and morty content I can find. This also has nothing to do with what south park was talking about.
If it gets season 3 here faster, then I hope they "sell out" as ******* hard as possible. I want my commercials to look like interdimensional television by the time they're ******* finished..
I saw this comment and went to watch the new season. Southpark never attacked rick and morty. South park is making commentary on the evolution of advertisements.
Looking through your profile, You havn't posted anything even close to funny..
First page: Whining?
Second page: More whining?
I mean even the colors to your profile make **** difficult to find, Its like you're trying to hide your own posts from yourself. So if you don't like what i say, Put me on hideall. I assure you i won't beg to get off it.
ironic *********** is still *********** .
I understood the joke, I just dont like that idea. It makes me sad to imagine that they could possibly sell out.
To be technical..they DID sell out. so you should already be sad by that logic.
It isn't even *********** , Are we now going to lower what *********** if we're making a joke on their "Avert" For burgers saying "lol they sold out xD" Jesus christ, god forbid if there was a dead baby joke in there.
But my point still stands, Don't like my jokes? Go away? Because i can't believe i have to explain this kind of **** on a daily basis now.
"*Slut shaming joke*"
"Omg go back to tumblr"
"Its a joke on slut shaming..."
"Where does it even say that, huh?!"
"The fact its a girl who slapped her own eyes with her tits for eye shadow..."
youre right, its not *********** . I was using it as a comparison that being ironic, what you were just doing in your "joke", is just as bad as being literal.
If you do think they sold out then why did you act like it was a joke? And if you constantly have to explain your jokes, dont you think maybe the people youre telling them to might not be the problem?
They technically did because as comment 24 said.. Not to mention they sold the idea TO Adult swim..So yeah they technically DID sell out, but that wasn't the joke i was making..
And when i get 1 comment from 1 guy and meanwhile 23+ Thumbs on the original comment, No i don't think i'm the problem, no.
sure, if you want to be technical about it. But look at the video above and tell me that's not entertaining to watch, and that it doesnt still make you smile just like any episode of rick and morty would.
If that's not the joke you were making, then what joke were you trying to make?
It did make me smile..I did laugh about how they didn't take it "That" Seriously, i guess.
the JOKe was them "Selling out" Knowing full well they ******* havn't. This is the last time i'm saying this because i'm starting to sound like a broken record..
well, i mean that was the first time you said that.
I dont really understand your logic though because youre claiming you know they havent sold out, but above you say they have? so please explain
they sold their idea to a big company for money..to make more of the show.
Open a book man, i ain't going to define what "Sold out" means, Have a good morning, i havn't even had my coffee yet and i gotta explain how to pour water out of a shoe.
Just go do your research dude. I'm a disability carer, I don't do special ed courses.
I said "Technically they did if you want to see it that way" But the joke was "omg they did an advert for a burger joint, SELLOUTS" as if it was some major ******* thing, If you don't get the joke, Don't get it, I am starting to understand why you didn't get the joke at this point and yeah it isn't me but you're wearing me out when your responses are equivalent of a 5 year old.
"*Joke*"
"I don't get it"
"Its a joke on selling out, they didn't."
"Why"
"Because they didn't"
"But why?"
"Well i guess technically they did sell out with adult swim but that wasn't the joke i was making-"
"Why"
so what youre telling me is they did sell out, but you made a joke saying they did sell out being ironic because they didnt sell out when they actually did sell out.
okay thank you for that clarification. I now see the obvious comedy gold.
Advertisements have never been able to make me want something. Everytime I see an ad, it doesnt make me want to eat/buy/use whatever it is selling. Until now, that is.
Not really, just that ads are "evolving" . I couldn't care less about an animator making a cool ad for a product they endorse, better than click bait articles and other dubious practices.
Hell, I'm just kinda happy there is a Carl's Jr./Hardee's ad that isn't bewbs. Bewbs are nice, but they don't exactly make me hungry for fattening foods. Just horny.
Is there a reason they have both a Carl's Jr. and a Hardee's?
Both have the same possession just like every other fast food place (Denny's, Wendy's, etc etc etc) so they're not so different.
Why have both? Why not name them one or the other regardless of where they're at?
It's just a cultural thing. Both started as different businesses on different coasts. They could change the name, but why would they? Maybe save a few bucks on trademarks, but they risk offending ******** and confusing the elderly. That's definitely bad news bears for a big corporation.
