"Insensibility" featured in a poem by Wilfred Owen (not sure of artist).

"Happy are men who yet before they are killed
Can let their veins run cold.
Whom no compassion fleers
Or makes their feet
Sore on the alleys cobbled with their brothers.
The front line withers,
But they are troops who fade, not flowers
For poets’ tearful fooling:
Men, gaps for filling:
Losses, who might have fought
Longer; but no one bothers."

Just some images I found while doing some research, figured I'd might as well share them as they are very interesting. This is my first comp, and depending on the response I might make more (possibly even WWII, Korea, Vietnam, etc).

I heard some stuff about the Luftwaffe being extremely honourable during the 2nd world war, digging graves for the enemy pilots they shot down et cetera, but i don't know if this is true.

And one more question, i also read some **** about early in WWII German subs used to tow the lifeboats of sunk enemy ships closer to shore, and that they were flying the red cross while doing so, so they wouldn't be bombed, but then stopped after somebody bombed them while they were towing some crap, is this true?
