Well her father is Zeus so shes a demigod. Plus her outfit gives her additional powers i think. Her father being Zeus and all she's Hercules's half sister, and Hercules was Superman before Superman existed. Like B.C Superman.

The funny thing about WW is that she's not bulletproof (hence why she use her bracelets to block bullets), but she's super durable against blunt force. Although Injustice Wonder Woman might be bulletproof idk.

Also. even though supermans weakness is magic, he doesn't have any special protection against divinity (he has protection against regular impacts) so she doesn't need as much force to hurt him, although he's still pretty tough without the special bonus protection so she'd still need to be pretty strong (which she is)

It's really funny because this entire comic series is based on the idea that Superman sucks.

I'm not even kidding.

The creators have obviously never read a single comic featuring Superman or they would know that he's a Martial Artist and VERY good fighter, just like Diana. They would also know he has an extremely high I.Q, quite similar to Bruce Wayne. They would know have the blows he's been dealt in this series would never have even happened because he's not just some brawler who only focuses on raw strength; he's an actual intelligent and capable hero who, unlike many, actually works to better himself over the years through skills and talents.

I find it a bit of a joke in its own right that Superman keeps being used as a punching bag and turned into a villain as if the creators are making groundbreaking work.

Wanna know what would be groundbreaking? If BATMAN became the villain. If BATMAN was wrong every once in a while; that would be a change.

Batman has done the exact same thing as Superman has here, in the Justice Lords.
Additonally, superman was nowhere near a skilled martial artist untill Black Canary and Wonder Woman trained him. This could take place before that time since this is not the same continuity of the known universe.

And superman has varying degrees of power across comics. In the earlier comics he wasn't even able to fly.

Besides your comment only proves my point, which is that Superman is a boring hero because he's pretty much perfect in every way, a Mary Sue
Batman has weaknesses, Aquaman has weaknesses. All Superman has to do is make sure he doesn't come into contact with Kryptonite, and he'll just remain as unstoppable as he always is.

Batman becoming a villain would be cool.
Especially since it wouldn't work how a lot of fanboys think it would batman = win because all of his sidekicks, every single one of them, has been trained to not only be able to do what he does but to be able to stop him (or another sidekick if it happens).
If we just use the new 52 there's: red robin, red hood, robin III, batwoman, hawkfire, bluebird. There are others in the 'bat family' but these are the ones batman trained
Even if individually they'd lose to batman, even if in a group they'd lose (they probably wouldn't, there's 6 of them and they all are comparable to batman) they'd be supported by the various other superheroes who weren't on batmans side.
It would also be a good point to say that some of these batfamily members would take batmans side, I think robin III is one of the more likely ones, his sense of moral isn't the greatest and he'd probably choose batmans side without regarding good/evil

Do you even read comics? The powers/abilities of bigger superheroes - especially in DC - vary from comic to comic, and mostly author to author. For YEARS, Superman couldn't even fly. And he's always been prone to being emotionally vulnerable. It's his thing. Being the most superpowered being in the universe, the grass is greener on the other side. He gets a wife, has a kid, and both are taken away, and it's not even close to unfeasible that he'd snap.
Meanwhile, Batman is the first and biggest Gary Stu in media. His meta battles with his villains relies on him never breaking his morals. Injustice shows his strong points, it shows his weakpoints. But it's a comic of the strongest man in the world attempting to remove those weakpoints, and how it's the both together that creates who we are. An attempt to purge one, destroys the other.

outside of the new age symbolism. the comic book itself was great. it captured what made superman a good character(not to a great extent..but still captured it) and it had nice artstyle and action scenes. and thats all that matters to me in comic books.

i wouldnt whine about injustice leagues portrayal of superheroes if the story and artstyle itself were good maybe offhanded remark here and there. and i would have no trouble with seeing the tattoo gangster joker. as long as the story is good.

also there has been some consistency with death of characters. hal jordan stayed dead for years. barry didnt come back until like 20 years after death.

some characters only came back to life because of multilversal reboot.

I've argued before that a de-powered Superman vs a mortal Diana would actually be a really close, fair fight, because Superman literally knows kung-fu. SO MUCH kung-fu. He just never gets to show it because **** it, imma just punch this thing once real hard and it's done.

What a piece of ******* garbage this is. I knew most of the more modern comics were ****, but this just takes it to a whole new level. I get it, you don't like him, I'm in the same ******* boat mate. But this is revenge fanfic tier. In fact, I've read plenty of fan fiction that was much, much better quality than this.

Kids and edgy teens write fan fiction for free. A grown ass man with a pension wrote this for money. And the fan fiction wins the comparison. Think about that for just a ******* second.

It's no wonder the industry is dying. At least have some ******* pride as a story teller and do "a fight where Superman gets his ass kicked" some justice. God this is bad. Next issue, Harry Potter gets adopted by the Cullens and joins Xavier's academy, where everyone gets trained by the Punisher, who is the new P.E. coach.

This is the same argument against Superman that you see every time, over and over. You've clearly never read a Superman comic in your life because he's not about being powerful, he's an ideal and a role model with the pressure of the worlds dependency on his back. He's not a human trying to be a hero, he's a hero trying to be human. No one is throwing a hissy fit over him having any crooked morals or bad moments because after all, he's just a living being with feelings and passions. Only people who think he doesn't kill and stuff are people who are unfamiliar with him, e.g. Batfags and you.

I've been reading Superman comics since before you were born.

95% of them are garbage where he solves the problem by punching it. The runs where he's an actual ******* person who has real person problems are the exception, not the rule.

Cry and bitch about the problem all you want. All I need to do is point to Man of Steel. If Superman having pathos is what the majority fans really wanted, they wouldn't have **** all over the movie. But they did. Because they don't want to see Superman make hard choices or struggle with the morality and ethics inherent to his position as a nigh-omnipotent god. As a person who thinks superman is a faggot you actually made some good points. Ive always seen him as just a superhero, but knowing a bit more off of what you said actually changed my opinion a bit. I will however maintain that he is possibly the most overpowered superhero in all comics dc,marvel or whatever..he has had about a thousand other powers over his creation and his strength is only limited by the writers imagination. Hell, even his major (and only) weakness seems stupid, a rock that drains him of his powers, not too much thinking there.

I mean, i understand these sorts of reactions on the cringe comps and the misandrist content, but you guys are being legitimately cringeworthy right now. im no fan of hamfisted feminist ideology in comics, but wonderwoman is one of the strongest characters in DC comics.

Could she take on superman? Maybe. I mean everyone circlejerks about how batman could take superman with enough prep time. And martian manhunter could easily kill either superman or wonderwoman in a one on one fight. Flash has been shown to be both smarter and faster than superman. Would she be able to stand a chance against Superman?
I think it would be an even ******* fight. A god vs an alien. Despite superman being roided to hell beyond reason in some comics, he isnt completely invincible.

Do i think she will win?
no.
simply because the story is based on superman being the bad guy and batman being the good guy, and as stereotypical stories go, the two main forces will meet in the end.

Do i think injustice is well written and an enjoyable read?
yeah. i think its good. I had fun reading it. It doesnt scream "GRRRRL POWWA".
it portrays some characters well, and some poorly. I think the story is going in an interesting path, despite the fact that "superman goes bad and batman stops him" is an overused concept.

7/10, it aint no tumblr wet dream, it aint perfect, but its a solid ******* comic.

This is exactly what im thinking. When i first saw these panels, i had no inclination to believe it was the writers purposefully trying to make superman look weak for a message...in the comics wonder women is a strong hero and theres no doubt she would be able to atleast give superman a challenge. What i see is people who are completely undermining and ignoring wonder womens abilities while only focusing on supermans.

The comments in this section are seeping with fedora ideology when this has nothing to do with that bull.

you gotta admit though when superman says he won't hold back and she isn't obliterated by a full powered smackdown something fishy is going on with the writers. I know WW is strong as a ******* but i doubt that anything in the injustice canon can survive him at his fullest.

...or **** it superman is trying to be nice or something and is holding back, would fit his original character.

Which is hilarious since you're making that judgement not reading the comic leading up to the point. You know, those ~75 other comics regarding the story. Further ignoring the fact that Wonder Woman is basically a goddess of war in her own right. And lastly, Super Woman has divinity on her side. Another concept you would be familiar with, if you actually read the comics.
