I've been trying to grow my hair out for awhile now but when i do it only goes into a ******* afro and not down, it sucks, i don't know how i can stop it
Welcome to the club, mate.
We suffer a similar fate, on top of the afro, i can't even let my beard grow out because appearently it makes me look like a pale terrorist...
Same here bud and i have a girlfriend who absolutely has made it clear shes gonna molest my hair if she can get a hold of it. And i have accepted my fate for that.
I'm about to make the transition from long hair to normal dude hair. I think the last time I got a regular hair cut I was probably like ten years old. The point is it's been a long time, and I hope you don't mind me asking, but what was it like going from long to your new (fantastic) do?
Likewise. Before I cut it off, mine was about to my shoulder blades (lower back straight) and people constantly touched it. I've decided the most uncomfortable feeling is having a random stranger grab your hair. And you can't even punch them because it's an old woman and people bitch when you do that.
My straight hair wasn't even shoulder length but i still had strangers touch it, when someone had the courtesy to ask it surprised me but i said yes because they were actually considerate, one of the people who actually asked is my girlfriend now of 2 years.
Well it's not realistic at all, girls take those pictures all the time and they don't say "ew..." they instead say "Sexy/Fabulous/Perfect, send that **** straight to facebook/instagram/tumblr"
long haired dude here
the sleeping expectations one.
literaly just don't sleep on top of your hair
pull it behind your head

if you prefer to sleep on your back, pull it up above your head
even if you turn your head during the night, you won't end up with a mouthfull of hair.

Well, I woke up with a monodreadlock after that every single time. And yeah, I use a conditioner. I-I'm a dude Well, it doesn't matter anymore, male pattern baldness did its thing
I have very fine curly hair naturally, and I use to feel like a poodle in humidity. I got it chemically straightened at the salon and it's soooooo much easier to maintain. And I don't look like a ball of fuzz when I wake up. X3
