So I was looking at this post here: [url deleted] which explained how Wolframalpha can do your math for you. So I tested out a common conundrum that's always had people arguing:
1/3 = 1 * 0.333 recurring = 0.333 recurring
2/3 = 2 * 0.333 recurring = 0.666 recurring
3/3 = 3 * 0.333 recurring = 0.999 recurring
therefore:
3/3 =/= 1

Wolframalpha confirms that 3/3 does indeed equal 0.999 recurring, not 1 like we've all been told to believe.

Also posting as anon because I don't have an account and couldn't care less about imaginary internet fame.

Actually, this is entirely true. 0.99... is exactly equal to 1, because ANY value you add will make it more than 1 (other than 0 lol)
