Death Knights were stupidly overpowered the first week of release, and Hellfire Peninsula is the zone they go to after their first class quests

Or the great Death Grip tug-of-war in Alterac Valley, where Death Knights try to pull you towards them to hit you once or twice before another Death Knight death grips you towards him, then the process repeats until you die.

grip is by far the worst opener a dk can make. grip is a gap closer - its used when your target is running away, or blinking away, or disengaging away, or rolling away, or displacing away, or even leaping away. if you burn it on your opener, you wont have it in 6 seconds when they gap. open with chains of ice - snare/slow + dot. or pet leap/stun.
never ever open with grip. yer opponents will know youre a scrub.

Over in southern hellfire was the most pvp action in my experience where a lot of the times i found myself trying to counter other Dk's bone shields or i would end up suicide bombing after dying going into zombie mode (now removed from the game) by leaping stunning my opponent and then self destructing which caused broken amounts of damage being able to possibly kill an undergeared lvl 70 in pvp.

Other then that i found myself being death gripped like everyone else trying to run for the portal to get into Hellfire ramparts but once we got in was ******* awesome cause 4 blood death knights with a single swing kept everyone at max hp while the frost knight tanked since frost at the time had all the tanking ability's

DKs came out of the starting zone at lvl 58 with a full set of blue gear, giving them a ************* large advantage over everyone who was not a DK, combine this with the fact that everyone wanted to make a DK at the same time and give them all a quest that requires you to capture 3 PvP zones and you have a war.

The best way to describe it would have to be take a runescape's world population of 2000 throw 1500 of those players into the wilderness and then reduce the size of the wilderness by 80%.    
   
Once you enter everyone just plays tug of war with your body until you die or you are blown up by the player you just killed.

Death Knights are able to get into the Burning Crusade expansion almost immediately because they start out at level 54 and the requirement to get in is 58, which only takes a good 45 minutes.

So, once Death Knights got released in WoW, the percentage of Death Knights in comparison to any other class in Outlands was roughly 95%, so everywhere in the starting area of the BC expansion you'd see nothing but death knight corpses, skeletons, and living death knights flying through the air to another death knight via Death Grip express.

TL;DR it's like WW2 if every soldier had a lasso, used it to grab enemies from twenty feet away, and then pull them directly in front of their face in order to stab them to death with Cloud's sword if it had blue words scribbled all over it.

Also few months into the expansion when DKs were immortal, everyone got pissed at them and went to hellfire and took revenge on all the low level, leveling DKs. Good times...
