it got delayed because **** , if you look at any of the gameplay, the whole world looks horribly empty and bland, their trying to make a skyrim like zelda, yet you cant have a massive overworld with nothing in it, I like the new direction of having a massive fully explorative overworld filled with things to do and being able to go to any dungeon you want in any order as long as you have the required item **** you probably dont even need a certain item to get into a dungeon. simmilar to a link between worlds, but thats not gonna be really enjoyable when the whole world is more baron than the mojave desert in fallout new vegas

I'm expecting a dual console release, with it coming out as an NX launch title. Probably with extra **** in it to entice more people to grab the console.

I heard they may save it for the new console they're making but either way that game is gonna be worth the wait, and in the meantime we can enjoy twlilight princess HD on the wii U but if the game isn't worth the wait i'd just be mad for awhile till i get over it

Almost 10 years old, and i bought that game on all consoles, from gamecube, to wii, to wiiu, and i'll continue to buy it as long as they keep remaking them it's basically a game i could play over and over again as long as i have a break from it after awhile

Zelda U is never going to be released because Nintendo discovered that it could make them money, and they hate earning money.

That's not entirely true. Nintendo loves making money, however their business strategy is to repeatedly re-release the same game and then forcibly take ad revenue from Youtube and Let's Players. But actual work? **** that noise.
