Games increase reaction time, strategical and critical thinking abilities and decrease the amount if hesitation felt in critical situations. Online games train gamers in communication and proper verbal abuse etiquette, as well as teamwork and using resources efficiently.

Good gamers breed sportsmanship and create an environment for proper socialising. Gaming can bring increased creativity as a story is embedded in the gamer's mind.

Gaming also allows the venting of anger and frustration, and often teaches the consequences of making mistakes. Many games also teach the player to manage their inventory and funds carefully, and create strategies based on thier characters abilities.

In theory, gaming should also increase confidence and charisma, but we all know this doesn't happen.

Gaming can also spark an interest and make the gamer taken up hobbies, such as soccer, recreational firearms discharging or mugging.

Finally, games and gaming effectively dull the effects of depression and many other mental illnesses.

This just sounds like alot of excuses for being lazy. Don't get me wrong, i I love playing videogames. But when it comes down to it, they're a ******* colossal waste of time. Just call it what it is
