This is extremely exaggerated.

I actually had this program, it was great and I spent a load of time working on lots of proteins, including the one mentioned here which was at the top of the featured list.

It was up there and uncomplete for far longer than ten days.
Plus it isn't as significant as they're making it sound.

Though it is definitely awesome and very impressive. Somewhat of a milestone in the new age of scientific research.
The whole new fad of putting in-silica (computerised) scientific work up onto the net for everyone interested at home to chip in for is ingenious, and has proved to work pretty well so far.

OP's article also has no source and was from facebook.. Why should we believe anything?

It's called intuition, you choose to believe what seems more realistic. Aka, believe the less impressive facts.
