that could be the reason though. olympic archers don't grip the bow because doing so causes your arm to shake and put your aim off. they instead limp grip it and it cuases it to spin when the arrow is fired.
Pretty much every major religion has enemies with every other major religion.
Christians.
Jews.
Muslims.
Atheists.
Actually now that I think about it... everyone's pretty much made enemies with someone else at some point. It's like people naturally fight with one another.
>Be Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi
>Be muslim
>Get bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees is Islam from Islamic University of Baghdad
>Claim to have the one true caliphate
>Begin conquest of the Levant
>Commit genocide of everyone who isn't muslim
Sure you can press a button, but it seems like you can't proivide any logical arguments. That requires some actual thought and the ability to challenge your own views. It's ok, little Adolf. It's not your fault.
Jesus Christ, are you completely devoid of critical thought? The people FIGHTING ISIS are muslim. The vast majorityof people ISIS kills are muslim. Yes, you do have serious problem with fundamentalism in Islam, but that really doesn't mean that a ******* terrorist organisation represents the views an the will of all muslims. Can' you see how hard muslims in western countries are distancing themselves from these cunts? You're really putting words in my mouth by assuming I think the radicals are a tiny minority in the religion. And don't let a freaking YT video do the explaing for you, that just proves wat a lazy attitude you have to properly informing yourself.
... and you appearantly can't read. Good job to you too. Seriously, a link to a youtube video only stating some polls with no explaination where they come from and a book cover are the best argumets you can offer? I'm starting to feel guity even starting this.
Well my hope is that you would look at them instead of just raging. I don't have the time or the patience to argue with you since you are just going to get mad every time. cya
It's hard not to when you see so many people spewing their complete BS while not offering any actual logic to back it up, all the while acting like it's unrefutable, objective truth.
Yeah, but now it feels like Muslims are the commonly vilified group. Remember how people said that if we discovered aliens racism would disappear? It's a bit of the same principle: you're less hostile to different groups if you have a common focus.
It looks like the residence of some kinöd of fictional villain.
And In the pic on the right it seems as if it's essentially just hollow inside.
Interesting metaphor
Well, to be fair, the technical definition of "Atheism" split into the Prefix "A-" meaning absense or opposite, and "Theism" meaning a faith based or religious belief system.
Meaning the definition of Atheism is "The Absense of a Faith Based Belief."
Which is basically the opposite of what a Religion is.
Not directly. They killed many, but the majority of the deaths came from the power vacuum, resistance to the occupation, and general sociopolitical collapse that could have been avoided.
The thing is, Suadi is not an Islamic country. Yes, it comprises mostly of Muslims, and the ruling class are Muslims, but their laws and rules are tribal (bedouin), not Islamic.
They try to paint their system as Islamic in an attempt to legitimize their behaviors. It's like country claiming to be democratic by forcing each person to vote, at gun point, for X son of Y; great leader general, where he gets 99% approval.
not really. most muslims outside of Saudi Arabia really don't respect it. it essentially does business with the enemy (Israel) and funds the terror groups (ISIS, Hamas, Al Queda) that end up destabilizing the middle east
Many muslims at my law school has defended it in debates. Same goes for Shia muslims who have defended the actions of Iran. Islam is inherently violent. History will be my witness.
lawyers aren't exactly good representatives of people. hell, i'd go as far to say white lawyers really don't represent white people either, in a general sense. of course many muslims will support SA because it's a muslim country, but with its track record, and for anyone that knows of its actions and deals with Israel, it's largely viewed in a negative light
I'd be interested in seeing it, i like to understand my fellows, before casting judgement. Having lived for a while in Israel/Palestine, i feel much more sympathy for muslims than i used to.
Children love radical racism/other -isms of such nature. Before puberty knocked a brain into me I was a mini Hitler, angst and all. Funnyjunk, /Pol/, Tumblr, pretty much all racist websites are mostly populated by children. Hence why you may never see more of this for maybe a month.
Before puberty knocked a brain into me I was a mini sjw, thinking everything was relative, and I should tolerate islam because it was just being misunderstood.
no, this is my viewpoint about islam. Bad muslims gave islam bad name. this statement is correct. ask any muslims in the world, they eventually agree at my viewpoint
Sunnis and Shia: Because there's a fundamental difference in beliefs, i don't consider Shia to be Islam because the main pillars of Islam is to recognize Mohammad (pbuh) to be the prophet of god, which Shias do not believe in.
Muslims and Christians: idk whatcha talking about, here we have plenty of christians, and i myself have plenty of christian friends and we do discuss religion sometimes without anyone dying or punching the other in the face.
Muslims and Jews: Muslims have no problems with Jews, muslims have problems with zionists and Israel and their supporters, there's a difference and valid reasons.
Muslims and Hindus: again, not a problem with hindus, it's a problem with the Sikh, who killed muslims by the hundreds in India.
False: the main pillar of Islam (called "shahada") is to recognize that there is only one God and Muhammad is his Prophet . And both Sunnis and Shias recognize this.
The (main) difference is that Sunnis consider 'Abu Bakr, 'Umar, 'Uthman and 'Ali to be the first successors of Muhammad (the so-called "khulafa al-ras hidun" = the rightly guided Khalifas). The Shias instead worship the family of the Prophet ("'ahl al-bayt" = people of the house), i.e. Muhammad, his daughter Fatima, her husband 'Ali and their sons Hasan and Husayn, and the claim that 'Ali should have been the first successor of Muhammad.
So there is no difference in belief, it's just politics.
Basically, Shia believe that after Mohammed's death, his cousin/brother in law (Ali ibn Abi Talib) should be his successor, while Sunni believe that it should have been his father in law, Abu Bakr.
Also the Shia have a pretty interesting system, that allows their Imam's to define religion in weird ways, like saying that their high priests don't have to pray anymore because they are so good (even though the prophet never allowed such a thing and didn't stop himself) or generally making up some stuff contradicting to the Qur'an and the hadith.
Ibadis was a sect of Islam that originated about 20 years after the death of Mohammed, which predates both Shia and Sunni. They usually abide by a strict adherence of Sharia law, but apparently it's one of the more tolerant and moderate sects of Islam in relation to other religions.
I think you have that wrong. The Sunnis believe that the caliphate passed to his cousin, Abu Bakr, because it needs to go through a male succession. The Shiites believe that it passed to his daughter (I forget her name), because it needs to go through the bloodline of the prophet.
I mean, i see where you're coming from, but they kind of had to have that amount of comparisons to make the original scene work. They can't just go like muslims and germanic pagans, now can they?
But to be honest, after looking at the comments i'm a bit happy that there are other people who know more about that topic. No need to spam more politics.
