6. Criticisms made of "the West" by Muslims are rejected out of hand.
That's because most of them are utterly ridiculous. Muslims talk of "the West" like feminists talk of "the patriarchy". There certainly is legitimate criticism of western society, but the general mainstream Islamic discourse is completely void of it.
I know right? I mean how ridiculous are Muslims have to be to criticize the west for killing 4 million Arabs in the Iraqi war, sheesh.
