I don't see how this make any semblance of sense. People pirate because why pay for something when you can get it for free?

Why in the name of **** would I ever listen to the radio when I can have exactly what songs I want exactly when I want them, without any commercials?

It is my understanding that most record companies screw over their artists to such a degree that they get pennies on the dollar per album sold. If you want to support a band, buy tickets to see them live. Hell, even the merch at a show gives better profit to the artists than albums do.

Full Disclosure: I pirate like a ************ and will spout any flimsy justification I can just to ease my conscience.

Close. They want free unlimited access to the songs they like, and no radio ever provides that.

Internet pirates aren't inconsiderate jerks, they're people who don't have enough money to buy music.

I have never in my life pirated music.. what the **** is this idiot talking about?
Movies - yea, games yes.
Youtube is full of music, who needs torrents.

playing the actual file instead of streaming it in a video usually yields better quality.

plus you can always have that music on hand if you dont have internet access.

Don't get me wrong, you guys pirate all the music you want, but hear me out.

1) There are ******* of radio stations, nobody is forcing you to listen to the "most popular one"

2) You can make a ******* playlist of your favourite music on YouTube and listen to it anytime.

3) There are ******* of not copyrighted songs / channels dedicated to free music + remixes of copyrighted songs (remixes are usually copyright free too)

Also don't give me this " **** music" talk. Its like looking at modern art, if you only search for **** , you'll find **** . There are hundreds of music genres and its totally ok if people's tastes are different.

It's kinda irrelevant nowdays, isn't it? Music in particular, you could look up some songs on youtube, make a playlist of music videos, and then pull that up on your phone any time. You can shuffle the videos or skip through them, it would have the same functionality as an mp3 player, and you still haven't payed for the music. And with the right mobile browsers, you can always avoid advertisements.

People pirate music because we live in the 21st century faggots.

We have the technology to add songs to our phones within 2 clicks.

Back 20 years ago, youd have to physically record whatever song pops up on the radio so you can listen to it later.

We didnt change, our methods just got easier.

I'm glad they didn't use a recent photo for this, considering how much of a hobo he looks now

as for the quote, I agree whole heartedly
