The "SJW" doesn't expect you or anyone to "tiptoe" in any situation, because they are not looking for you to be quiet and agree with them. If you did "step in line" they wouldn't get the spotlight they SO desire brought right to them. They word their arguments so as to intentionally lead you into questioning their false logic, so that they can paint you with the larger brush of being the root problem of EVERY social issue. If you make a comment that can be twisted into something "racist", even if it was glaringly obviously not your intent, they will fixate on changing it from "racist" to bigot" then "misogynist" or....whatever the term THEY need to be used, so they can steer the perceived offense toward themselves and how THEY are now the victim. Any attempt by anyone to step in and defend or even clarify the original meaning of the situation, is seen as potentially endangering their time in the spotlight that they so desperately need to validate their own sense of self worth, and they know no other way of getting it. As such, any denials of their allegations will be cited as the lies of the"oppressors" and used as further "proof" to align you against them.
Their goal is not fairness and equality for anyone being "oppressed" nor is it anything as complex as promoting their own superiority. The statements they make seeming to do that are actually nothing more than another form of "how can I spin this benign situation into a huge controversy that I can usurp and supplant myself as the central victim, and what do I additionally need to say and do to keep it going at all costs".
This is why we sometimes see two, seemingly aligned "SJW" armies making indictments of each other... there just isn't enough room in the spotlight for them both! And they NEED logical and rational people to call them out so they have a foil to ally against! They are nothing more than trolls that are to dumb too realize they are trolls....

It's just about making sure they end up on top through any means necessary - like fake accusations of rape or sexism or doxxing anyone that disagrees with them

Social Justice Warriors aside, I'm heartened by some of the advancements that have been made for equality. For instance, when a lot of older women talk about being raped decades ago, they say that they didn't say anything at the time because it wasn't something you talked about then. Same with people recognizing privilege.
Even though people mostly talk about social justice issues in a negative light on this site, they are talking about it. Some people might even be thinking about it too.
I think the next big one that we're going to have to talk about is class and income inequality.

Frankly, when it comes to big social issues? I'd rather have an argument than nobody talking about it at all.

I agree, But these SJW's are hijacking any cause they can just so they can try to be the "face" of it. I also agree with you about the economic in equality being about to erupt... I feel the biggest issue with THAT however is that it is SO ingrained into our political system now that it will take something close to s revolution to change things, and with the "globalized" market of today, those people that have the wealth in this country now, are not worried about that prospect because they can easily move their wealth overseas and "jump ship" with their money as a contingency ... and they will all do so en-mass as soon as there is ANY wind of such happening, which will only exacerbate the issue here.

So true. And it's hilarious that people (in my country it's particularly the Conservatives) scream "class warfare!" and "populist politics!" any time someone brings up the possibility of legislation that benefit the poor rather than the rich. And people believe them! I'm Canadian and it's not quite so bad as in the states, where socialism itself is a bad word.

It's possible to have policies that involve *gasp* taxing people to provide helpful services without the country turning into the goddamn USSR, you know.
