Why Men Need Gender Equality

This hits home with me.

Today I brought my son back to his mother, who falsely accused me of rape, child abuse, etc. almost four years ago. All charges were eventually dropped, but by that time I hadn't been able to see my son for over a year, and she was awarded full custody. I ended a promising career in military intelligence, and took an 80% pay cut, in order to be able to have a bigger part of my son's life. The court fees, combined with the child support payments, bankrupted me. In order to put an end to the custody battle, which I had no financial way to continue, I had to settle for visitation during the summer, and shared holidays, while she gets full physical custody and all the benefits that go along with it. She didn't even have to hire a lawyer; she just made up a story and ruined my life. Oh, and she faced no repercussions for her lies.

So much for gender equality.
