I'd like everyone to know that Comic Wolverine and Movie Wolverine are very, VERY different people. for instance, from what I understand of the movie, Wolverine wanted his healing factor gone. Comic Wolverine is very proud of his Mutant heritage. Also, where movie Wolverine seems to only know how to punch and claw, Comic wolverine has been around the world many, many times, learned many, MANY forms of martial arts, as well as a vast amount of languages, became proficient with most every weapon (From swords, clubs, firearms, artillery, ecetera), can piolet planes, drive tanks... In fact, the only time when he's not exceptionally brilliant, is when he enters his berserker rage.

"Wolverine will sometimes lapse into a "berserker rage" while in close combat. In this state he lashes out with the intensity and aggression of an enraged animal and is even more resistant to psionic attack. Though he loathes it, he acknowledges that it has saved his life many times, it being most notably useful when he faced the telepathic 'Mister X', as X's ability to read his mind and predict his next move in a fight was useless as not even Wolverine knows what he will do next in his berserk state. Despite his apparent ease at taking lives, he does not enjoy killing or giving in to his berserker rages. Logan adheres to a firm code of personal honor and morality."

Hope this helped! Cheers!

Wolverine's at his best when he's without the adamentium; his healing factor is ramped up considerably (And considering how already considerable his considerably amazing healing factor is now, that's quite... Considerable), though he lacks a lot of the weight. He's already nye on unkillable; without his body constantly trying to expel the adamentium...

Exactly. Imagine how Deadpool would be without the skin cancer constantly warping and starving off his healing factor as well. he'd heal even better! Scary stuff, for both of them.

But I thought his cancer was "everything cancer", he had lots of cancer then the healing factor made them spread all over his body, so not only skin cancer.
And since his healing factor isn't natural, without the cancer it would over compensate and create excessive cells, as explained here

It started out as skin cancer. He allowed himself to be injected with the healing factor only after he had given up on life (He was told it was terminal), and was grasping at straws. For a little while, it worked amazingly.

And then the cancer spread.

What can I say? Writers are lazy, or silly. Sometimes they step on the grass that's off the path. It WAS skin cancer, and when he's penned by someone else, it changes. Nothing to be confused about! It's just how comics tend to be done!

This is not beyond the realm of possibility. Both Batman and Logan are prodigies in their own right, but Wolverine has been active for a long, looong time; he's much older, and without a body that's slowly going to break down, and a mind that'll stay sharp. He's had a much longer time to accumulate knowledge, power and skill.

Evil would rue the day Bruce Wayne obtained Logans healing factor.

Ok, I've been trying to figure out what the Japanese says but the kanji are kinda hard to read. I've got the first speech bubble:
ここでは殺人ゴリラが教師として通用しているとは何とも ずかしいことですね
which roughly means:
(this) murderer gorilla trying to pass himself off as a teacher is pretty shameful, isn't it

And the best I've got of his speech bubble is:
いつもXXばかり言って御先祖(?)さん対して恥ずかしくな ですか。
which I guess means something along the lines of:
isn't it shameful for your ancestors that you do nothing but [complain?]

sorry the second one's a bit crappy but feel free to help me out with the missing words

Shot her in the head and stomach while she was pregnant. Wolverine didn't know his son lived (He had his fathers healing factor), and he eventually grew up to become Draken.

Wait just a minute! Wolverine DID marry, or was at least engaged to, a woman named Mariko Yashida (who's character was featured in The Wolverine). And she WAS poisoned by an assassin, and DID ask Wolverine to kill her to avoid a painful death; he reluctantly obliged.

I'm just gonna ask you here. I've been watching Young Justice and absolutely LOVING it. Though I have a pretty deep detest for Superman in general, I'm really liking Superboy in this show. He seems to be what Superman used to be before they pulled 76 random powers out of their butts to make him ridiculous.

Anyways, my question is this. In the New 52 Teen Titans comics, it seems to be a very similar team to the Young Justice team. Do the heroes in the comic act the same way as they do in Young Justice? Specifically Superboy.

Welp, I've started reading Teen Titans, I have the first two. I also ordered the first three Superboy comics that I found on Amazon that apparently tie in. He seems a lot different from the Young Justice version, both in personality and... well his powers seem confusing. It's really good though, and I'm really enjoying it so far. Can't wait to see how it plays out (no spoilers). I'm new to this comic scene, are there any "must reads" for Superboy or is he a relatively newly established character?

Side note, I was just given The Amazing Spider-Man Marvel Masterworks by Stan Lee & Steve Ditko. Fantastic gift and very great to read the old Spiderman comics, the original ones. Though to be honest, it's hard for me to ignore how bad the art is in comparison to how it is now. It's like playing an old video game, honestly.

And when they are disturbed, it's temporary.

I don't support pirating, but there are several great sites for buying online! I'm afraid I don't know any off-hand that's European-handy, though, but I'm sure you could find some with just a few clicks.

They were in the Danger Room (A holographic distortion chamber), and Wolverine jumped in while the kids were training, going out of his way to test Armors armor.

Comicexplain, what are your favorite comics?

Do you also enjoy reading regular books?

I absolutely adore books. I've got a miniature library in my home; One entire wall of my bedroom, and two separate bookcases in the room adjacent, as well as a book cling etched to the ceiling in the living room.

And there's simply too many amazing comics for me to have a favorite. Superior Spider-Man and Injustice: Gods among Us are my current recent-favorite two from Marvel and DC respectively, and I support them both, though it was an uneasy support for Superior, at first.

...probably because people tend to think that Batman is the only intelligent superhero, nowadays.

Really wished Wolverine belonged to Marvel, still - I love Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, but I think Marvel/Disney could make way, way more out of his character.
