If it were true, then humans would have become terribly self aware with that knowledge of how the world works. We can't truly understand the world without destroying it somehow, therefore the triangle is inaccurate- although it is reasonable.
But with something like this, relationships, which are sort of the prime thing in life, understanding them to a fundamental level would add a kind of 'self awareness'. That we, as people, know the 'trick' behind it. (If you couldn't tel before i was trying to make a sort of joke, but now I'm invested, so.) If people can identify the trick or secret in life, I doubt it would make us better.
If I understood relationships to the fundamental level, I could apply that knowledge to form tighter, more solid groups of people, without unnecessary conflicts within. I could use that same knowledge to break apart groups of other people.
So yeah, I see your point now. It would not make us inherently better, but neither would it make us inherently worse. Just like nuclear power, there are positive and negative uses.
