This isn't cheating. Cheating is having a second relationship and hiding it from your first. There is nothing wrong with stealing people from a relationship, just be aware that you may lose friendships in the process.

Your happiness is what's most important and if you two belong together, it's better to deal with that now then spending your whole life in regret, wishing for things that didn't happen or eventually growing tired of your existing relationship because he's not Mr. Right.

Dinosaur here, to stop this ******** from harassing him or her for ages.

That 4chan thread was supposed to get me motivated, not to become a funnyjunk ******** . And of course the text is only my story, I spent days and nights overthinking and killing myself over every single mistake or mean word I ever said. I didn’t need to burry myself even deeper in misery. She isn’t bad as it seemed to be.
That being said, 6 years together isn’t a contract where it says that she couldn’t leave me. But it should have given her enough common curtesy to first try and talk things out with me.
I know I surely had ******* of flaws, but so did she. But I was willing to get over any of them, or at least give her chance to fix it. But I loved every single part of her. But apparently my flaws were so big I didn’t deserve that chance.
She is a great person and gave me the BEST years of my life. This last ******** that happened doesn’t reflect on how good she was to me all the years before.
So if leaving me was the only way to deal with this and made her happy, so be it. I am sad about not being part of that happiness, like I was for years, but I have to accept I wasn’t right for her. Im sure I’ll find someone who doesn’t see me as an anchor.
It will take me longest time to get over, to stop dreaming about it, since it’s a shock to me. But that too will pass. I wish you all best of luck. Talk to each other, don’t let ****** things happen and be silent about it.

P.s. I lost my sides laughing to posttwo comet killing dinosaurs pics, those were great

I was going to write you my story but for several reason:
1.I passed the "4000" word limit and I probably thought no one would read it.
And if they do they will get lost with the vast amount of details and me bitching on and on and they wouldn't get the point.
2.A lot of it is personal and I cannot post it without feeling at least a little guilty even if I censor their names.

So i will try to pinpoint the major things and taking out as much detail as I can.
Believe it or not I know how you feel,if you would have talked to me about a month and a half ago you would see me carefully planning my suicide.
I felt so ****** that when they told me "wait 3 days before you do it" I thought to myself I cannot bare this feeling for 3 more days.

And trust me I can totally understand you I also dated a girl with quite a few flaws (of course I am far from perfect myself).She wasn't right for me to say the least.sometimes it is like we came from different worlds.
But like you,I use to love my girlfriend and I didn't care about any flaws and I was willing to happily move on.
Being with her was the best feeling I ever had,I never been so happy in years.
For the first time of my life I felt afraid of dying and I wanted to keep living just to be with her.
And I would do anything for her.
But like I thought it was "2 good 2 be true" she was really pretty and smart and I didn't think it made sense that someone like me would be with a girl like her.and I even felt anxiety from it sometimes.And of course she broke up with me.
I felt devastated the pain was unbearable and the worse thing that all of my friends are mutual friends with her,so she had someone to talk too while I was all alone.

After much struggling I managed not to kill myself but when I look back I noticed key things:
1.There were two girls I could have dated (my EX) and another girl which was perfect for me,she always cares about me and makes me feel good and I was even told several times that she liked me.But I just didn't love her.
2.I also had another breakup but I didn't love the other person so I felt nothing that time but now I was devastated.

So from the entire thing I learned three things:
1.The most important thing about a relationship with someone is "love",despite her being an awful person sometimes I still love her and were willing to get passed anything.
2.I am ******* clueless about how "love" works.I was treated good by one girl but I fell in love in a girl that ended up treating me like **** .
I could be so much more happy if I fell in love with the "good girl"
so why is that?
3.Don't ever make your happiness be about someone else.
The only thing that gets me going now is improving myself and reaching my goals.
So far so good so hopefully it will also help you.

So why I am telling you this???
Simple:
1.First of all it isn't you fault,unfortunately we don't fall in love just just because someone is treating us right,even if he/she is good for us.

2.You're way above average a lot of people in your age aren't nearly good as you,be ******* proud of it,achieve your goals and feel good with yourself because you're outstanding.So focus on yourself not on a girl.

3.Feelings is a tricky things two months ago I loved her and now I hate her,I was willing to marry her now I don't care if she lives or die.
And your feeling towards her will pass,even if you don't think like it right now.

4.In 10 years from now you will be happily married with a family and kids,she might felt like "the one" but trust me you will find another one sooner or later.

5.I am not saying you shouldn't feel bad but when it is time to move on re-read this hopefully it helps you,it surely helped me.

In conclusion:
You feel bad right now,but it is only temporary.you're an outstanding guy and you will find happiness sooner or later.
Feel bad all you want right now and get over it.
Because you have someone out there waiting for you.
