You should think of it that way. Think of it as a cinematic cut that can even be recreated in game and look the same. It shows the viewer what the game looks like.
Not 100% necessary, but it's nice for people who get a hard on from seeing good graphics.
I thought "Bull-Shots" were a rather hated thing. That was a lot of what took Watch Dogs down. They showed "gameplay" of a segment that didn't end up happening in the game (plus the graphics downgrade). They make it seem better than it is, and once you've bought it, they've already got your money.
Well, if you actually take some time to immerse yourself, you have tons of these small moments in gaming, but your not actually focused on that. just killing and owning and being cautious.
I got a cool example of that, I remember it from battlefield 4.
I was in a building that was starting to collapse and slid over a table and jumped out a hole in the building and parachuted out. Most cinematic non-scripted thing I've ever done in a game.
#1: Do not ever assume that a trailer can tell you anything about a game. This is what so many idiots forget when they get hyped at E3 or any other convention.
#2: This can still very much be the feeling that you get when you play battlefront if you choose to let it get to you.
Yeah, okay. Just watch somebody in your team die to turn around to the enemy just staring at you whilst the soldiers behind him just ignore you also.
Of course it's scripted as **** , how stupid are you?
Yeah DICE go all out scripting trailers for their games, especially recently. I think EA forces it though, since Hardline had it too when DICE didn't make Hardline. Watch any gameplay trailer and you'll always see that the cameraman doesn't get shot at in groups, or enemies don't react to his presence.
If laser guns are concentrated beams of light (or something like that) I cannot see why you couldn't split the light with a prism. Logically thinking, that would likely make the beam of projected light not as intense or powerful as before, but you could make a "laser shotgun".
A prism only splits up compound light of different wavelengths. LASER, by definition, is a light beam of photons packet with the same frequency and phase. The result is the same concentrated beam.
What you're looking for is a lens that refracts the beam into a more spread, conical shaped, pattern.
i remember a kid telling me that about this **** , he told me he had a theory about weapons in star wars. i didn't understand much but he said that the "Lazers" aren't light but rather a blast of an element, possibly hydrogen. im not engineer or physicist but thats what i remember him sayin
It's not a theory.
To put it very basically: blaster weapons in Star Wars fire superheated plasma, almost the exact same thing a lightsaber uses for its blade, but instead of being contained in a specific shape, it's just kinda thrown out there.
Why the **** do people try to scientifically explain a completely fictional story....seriously your friend is a god damn nerd. And you're a piece of **** anime watching cunt.
Sorry for being rude I just randomly had an urge to comment, this site is so full of anime watching nerds it builds up and occasionally I have to release my anger.
Actually im a rather outgoing and fit Marines poolee, FJ is full of cool people and you could see that if you'd bother to get to know them instead of being a judgmental bitch
FJ's full of nerdy weaboos and introverted queers, intelectual autists, socialy inept artist and hormonal teen rageaholics. None of these qualify as 'cool', however I see your misconception in being that these people can be cool to hang out with.
lazer is jsut a slang term, its actually plasma, a laser rifle shoots a bolt of plasma at the enemy, this is why they dont travel at light speed as a lazer would.
a shotgun version fires a "spray" of plasma, which acts like shotgun pellets, spreading out in a group, dissipainting after a short distance.
a true lazer weapon would be the one on the spiderdroid, which fires a lazer beam, which is instantaneous in its speed and is a full beam from gun to target, rather than a bolt
That's because they aren't lasers. Blasters fire plasma, which is the reason the magnetic containment field on a lightsaber (magnetically contained plasma) can deflect it. ACTUAL lasers (which aren't used much since they are considered to be inefficient power wise when compared to plasma weaponry) go right through a lightsaber.
firearms exist in the star wars universe, they're called slugthrowers. they are considered primitive weapons because you need to calculate the trajectory so they don't see much use however they do have certain advantages such low maintenance and their ability to function in harsh environments unlike the newer blasters
Heaven's Lost Property. It's great if you want a comedy that's pretty lewd with a perverted MC and a little bit of feels here and there Not much, but enough then it's the right one for you. There's two seasons and a movie out waiting for the next movie that's supposed to end it and the Manga finished so you've got a bit to watch.
