higgyshere (2 hours ago) [-] Funny story regarding black houses. I live down in the bible belt so everyone in my city is relatively "community minded". Well there was a super trashy run-down house on the road to get into our town that had loads of trash, old broken down dishwashers, toilets, and the like just sitting in their yard. So the city said "hey clean that up". They responded with a firm " **** you". The city replied by threatening to evict them if they didn't clean it up. So they ended up cleaning up their yard. About a week later, however, they had painted their entire house black in protest. So now you can drive down the road into our nice quiet city and see a pitch black house along the way. The end.

higgyshere (1 hour ago) [-] Tell me about it. They're pretty much reviled around here. Funny thing is their kids are honor students at the local high school. Hopefully they don't take after their parents.
