Step-by-step is a little excessive for such a small model. From the picture it's quite obvious how it's done and which pieces are used, the only kind of weird pieces are the sloped dark-gray pieces making up the sides. The right side is shown from above because it's identical to the left side, except the cockpit that's replace with a 2x1 thingy (don't know what they're called)
It's a total of 20 pieces, the black mid-section also has a 2x1 under it to give it some height.
will buy the pieces and build this, maybe if i can make myself justify buying the collectors edition death star i can put it next to that, would look cool.
thanks fellowjunker
i dunno, as a kid i think i prefered small sets over model sets because they were to actually play with
i guess i was a playful type more than a displayer type
I always got a Lego as a christmas present. I used to build them and tear them appart several times till i grew tired of the thing and placed it on display. Building lego is one of the most comforting and chill things you can do, similar to assmbling a puzzle.
I love seeing it come together and making it look like the instructions. Just seeing the separate built parts come together. When I was younger I always fantasized about being grown up and buying legos for myself. Honestly I still wanna do that.
