I would be horrified by an unstoppable deity that could tell what everyone had on them at any given moment and would pursue you to the ends of the earth if it deemed your possessions worth taking.

Fallout 3 or New Vegas. Fallout 3, granted is older than New Vegas, has a better story like turbanmasher said. Also 3 has more of the post-nuclear apocalypse look to it.
New Vegas is more about pre-war tech and a bit of lore scattered around.
what im about to say i hope i dont start a fallout 4 **** storm
I am hoping Fallout 4 as a story and atmosphere similar to or greater than that of Fallout 3 mixed with NV features like more pre-war tech, weapon mods, faction notoriety. I would say "iron sight aiming" but one can already say theyd add it in since NV has it and it was suppose to be a feature in 3 but ran out of time to actually add it in.
To me fallout 3 really had the apocalyptic feeling to it, I mean there is no tree anywhere except in Oasis I am Groot. , everything is just ****** with radiation. Plus you can actually 100% your stats in fallout 3, and once you beat it then it becomes pretty much a huge sandbox game of radiation and mutants.
New Vegas to me was more focused around the big three; Mr.House, The NCR, and The Legion. The place is filled with life, plants everywhere especially those ******* valts , the game play feels odd compared to Fallout 3, but the dlc for NV is the best of the two. The biggest downside to NV is that once you beat the game that's it, it doesn't continue. Also you can't max out your skills.
Honestly they're both amazing games, I would suggest playing Fallout 3 first because NV adds some more things to the game.
I'd say NV had the better story simply for the fact that it wasn't consistently full of plot holes. That said, I prefer Fallout 3 because the environment the game was set in was just so much more fun. Much better atmosphere.
I never look **** up beforehand. I see a ************ . I shoot a ************ . If it says I failed a quest, I look it up and load the last save if it's something good. I mean, come on. I have a goddamn anti-materiel rifle and a ghoul with a hunting revolver and Danny Trejos' voice. You can't expect me to NOT shoot everything that looks the wrong way at me.
Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter. Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter. Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter. Very nice OC m8. Love it.
