Maybe, it happened differently. The past is just one big "Telephone game" to the future. How do we know that Adam and Eve weren't intelligent Apes, that "God" was just another term for a higher-ranking species that lived near them, and they worshiped?

Becoming territorial when the lower-ranking species got near his "Treat tree"

Don't say it's not possible, because apparently making people out of thin-air is one of "Gods" mighty powers, and that's possible, even though it doesn't make sense.

Homo erectus lasted 2 million years up until 70k years ago and homo sapiens in 200k years old.

Homo ergaster lasted between 1.8mil to 1.3mil years ago.

Homo neanderthalis branched off about atleast 516k years ago (800k considered) and was around until as late as 39k years ago.

Homo Denisovan, sister species of neardenthalis, branched off 600k years ago lasted until 41k years ago.

Homo heidelbergensis which is our, neanderthalises and denisovans andcestor lasted from 600k (possible 700k) to 200k years ago. Basically all those specieses of humans were heidelbergensises until 400-300k years ago.
