I've got a few dings over the 5 years. The only major issue happened a few months ago when the limited slip came apart, shredding itself to **** . Aside from that it's a solid vehicle. 8/10
Lmao dude I just got rid of a white and gold 2000 outback last saturday, with bad headgaskets. My buddy's got it almost back together. Also your rear brakes are bigger than the fronts. 2000 only. I know the rear size can be fitted to the front too, I just don't remember the details.
Thx for the heads up bro. This one had bad headgaskets when I bought it, but I only paid junk price for it, and there is no damage to the engine, so I'm pretty sure it was worth it.
Absolutely, headgaskets can be done in a weekend on those cars, my buddies have done a good dozen or more. Manual or Automatic? Also if you've got a winter-package car (It'll have a heated windshield) You get a rear LSD too.
The hell they are. At least around here, old jeeps are used as farm vehicles and never go to junk yards and Jeep stops making parts after they are 10 years old. I had to buy a replacement buckle for the drivers side seatbelt and it cost me $120.
