Then the lawyer alone did a lawsuit against the oatmeal for that

Somewhat true but he makes some thought provoking and funny comics as well. Both sides handled the case bad but imo old addy and lawyer handled it even worse than oatmeal.

Charles Faggion decided to sue him for slander and instead of dropping the case pressed for 20k, which oatmeal raised, but instead of giving it, he gave it to a cancer charity and a wildlife charity and sent a picture to Charles depicting a very fat version of charle's mother seducing a bear.

I would assume this case was where a majority of Addy's money woes came from. I was amazed the site didnt shut down after that.
