I have family who works in welfare and told me an unbelievable story this morning I thought I'd share... because Feminism.
She said, a woman came in reapplying for cash benefits. She has two kids with the "baby daddy" she's with now, she's already getting some form of benefits for the kids in welfare, and now she found out she can force her the husband she left to be with "baby daddy" to pay for the kids under state law.
Think about that next time you want to get married, guys...

Why am I getting reds for this? At least provide some thoughtful counter arguments/reasons for your apparent disagreement. Heck, I'm not even making a bold statement beyond "this happens, be aware." What's wrong with you people?

From what I understand she's open about them not being his kids, but because she just left and they never filed for formal divorce (yet, at least) the law says he has to pay regardless. That's pretty messed up if you ask me.
