This is just making things worse. It is clear that some people are manipulative and act in their own interest with no considerations of other people, however discrediting rape charges because of false accusations is not ok. I live in a country in which women are basically sold, where even in western parts when women leave their husbands because of domestic violence the husbands kill their wives and the police doesn't help them because it is common knowledge that the woman belongs with her husband, for better or for worse.

This is not about genders, and I understand that there are a **** ton of morons out there that cause these issues to be discredited. But it is a known fact that these women don't speak out, and even if they do the perpetrator rarely gets convicted.

TL; DR This is not about gender, discrediting serious matters due to idiots making light of it is not ok.

I'd agree with you if not for...

False Rape Charges RUIN lives. It can ruin a career, it can ruin a family, it can ruin your credit, and it can VERY Easily drive a man to suicide. Worst of all? A false rape claim that goes through can send a main to jail for 25 years AND it's her word against his. Not an inkling of proof is required.

In every other criminal case, Motive, Opportunity and Intent are needed what the prosecution is fighting for. In a rape case, though? It's a sob story: True or not, that's what it is. No motive is necessisary. "He wanted to **** " is already implied, so that's 1 strike. Intent? Again, already implied. Opportunity? Can you 100% account for everywhere you were in the last 6 months? I can't even prove 100% where I was in the last 6 DAYS.

And then let's talk about feminists definition of rape vs the legal definition of rape. Rape's definition varies from state to state, but in most state it boils down to: Vaginal Penetration without consent. Some states include Anal, and I think..2? Include all orifices.

Meanwhile, some women think that rape can be defined by any sexual act towards an unwilling person. Any sexual act, including fantasizing about them. There are people who think you can rape someone without touching them. Lots of people even think the sheer act of LOOKING at them is sexual harassment. I don't even have words for how ******* inane that is.

While this confusion of the word exists, unless it can be proven without a shadow of a doubt, crimes like this should not end in conviction. Likewise, women who suggest they were raped, and were proven wrong without a shadow of a doubt, they should suffer the same punishment they were attempting to falsely imprison someone else for.

"discrediting rape charges because of false accusations is not ok."

It is literally the definition of "ok"
If a rape claim is proven false then **** the woman with a flagpole. If you meant "because false rape claims happen that we shouldnt discredit all claims of rape" then ******* of course not rape is a serious issue and people who claim it falsely should be charged seriously. But theres women out there who want a womans word to be law and not even question if a claim is real or not, and thats goddamned retarded.
