why do people kill themselves over this? if you are proven innocent anyone who matters to you i.e. employers, family, friends, neighbors would see you're innocent seems silly to kill yourself if you're innocent
pic related, it's what i would act like if i was accused o rape but i'm innocent

Because a lot of the time, people won't care if you're proven innocent and will still proceed to treat you like complete **** , and can even cause you to have a harder time finding work or having a decent social life.

but once you are proven innocent just show them the evidence and the ruling and them bam, they have no reason to do it anymore and if they do you can sue them

People are stubborn man. Even if you have a court ruling that claims you're innocent and people know and see it, they'll still treat you like **** .
