I take offense to that, as an atheist, I find it immoral to beat someone up for exercising their right to freedom of religion.

They may have the freedom to spew their hateful but we have the freedom to dissuade these people form their horrible ignorant ways. Mankind should not hate but love.

They can exercise it all they want as long as it doesn't impose on other people's freedoms, like the right to privacy at the funerals of military servicemen. If they want to hate on people in their own church, go ahead. But if you're going and protesting a funeral, you've crossed the line.
