I like how the author didn't use the personality every other Light Novel/ manga/ anime uses. I was sick of the whole "I want to help everyone/ Protect my friends/ Be a completely static and uninteresting character" everything and it's mother was doing. Momonga isn't actually a good guy, his only redeeming character trait is his desire to protect the NPCs in Nazkarick and he's slowly getting more and more evil, and I like that. It's a nice change of pace from the "selfless hero" and "I act like a dick but I'm really not" archetypes from everything else.

I see your point and I really do not know enough about the character to argue otherwise, I'm just turned off by the overpowered character that he is. From what I've seen a big thing that makes people like Momonga is how overpowered he is and I just don't understand that.

The Same reason people say Superman is boring is ther eason why a lot of people have said they like Momonga. I just don't get it.

But, like you said. There are other reasons to like the Light Novel, maybe I'll give it another chance at some point, I just don't understand why so many people love it.

I dunno why I really like him now that you bring up Superman, because I hate his character. I guess it's just how he's basically evil. Or how I've always liked Necromancers and such in games and shows.

It is a new twist on it I suppose. Honestly, I feel like I've been rather stuck up when it comes to Light Novels after I read Legendary Moonlight Sculptor. I keep comparing other stories to it and maybe that is my problem. I really should give other Light Novels a chance.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, I've heard both from various people. As the video says though, it's stupidly gamebreaking and can **** up your alchemy skill or end up killing you if you overdo fortify health enchantments. Just make a separate save and try it out that way if it does **** anything up, you can just reload the pre-glitch save.

I recently started playing dark souls due to having the time for it now, and was lucky enough to have the second black knight I killed drop its greatsword. Was not gonna sit back and let my lack of stats stop me using this beast of a weapon, so I went soul farming until I could up my strength enough to use it. Now I kill basic enemies in a single swing. I can take down a stone giant in the darkroot gardens before they're even ready to attack me.

My favorite Morrowind pasta. Just about sums up all the crazy **** you could do in the game. I'd always put Alchemy in major skills, but mostly to make fortify speed potions, since the running speed was a joke even with mods for that.

Bethesda, stop jerking off to the thought of how many shekels Fallout 4 will earn you and make another game like Morrowind.

I'd say there's a decent difference, though. In any Dragon Age game, the focus of the game is on the combat and the story. So, you want the story to be good and the fights to be challenging. In TES, a big part of it is just screwing around and seeing what you can do. With just in-game stuff (assuming the exploit was simply using a game glitch and not specifically "cheating" or something like that with mods or the command console), this guy basically managed to explode the universe.
