Well we see the Mandalorian symbol along with quite a few others hanging over the bar in the movie. **** is probably being the Mandalore and gathering up all the ************ into a proper fighting force again who will probably go help the resistance
Actually apparently the Sarlac pit allows people to age very slowly without dying, which is why Jabba said that Han would suffer for a 1,000 years in it. So if it took Boba several years to get out, he wouldn't be that old.
According to wookiepedia, his last canon appearance was falling into the Sarlac. I'd love to believe he's still alive, and would love seeing the Slave II in action, but "George said so" doesn't strike me as credible anymore as it's Disneys say not his.
I'd pay more attention to the movie and advertising. Disney likes to be subtle and drop hints. Pixar even more so, but that's a studio far far away.
"However, on July 16, 2014, Star Wars author and historian Jonathan W. Rinzler stated in a Reddit AMA that Lucas has said that Boba survived the sarlacc,[30] though this has yet to appear in official new canon media. "
Wow, I read up to his personality, not expecting something like that to come afterward.
I'm 100% okay with this, so yeah, I might not have gotten to see the war of Mon Cal, or the Bacta wars, but Slave II hopefully!
