>Tfw you can't read any kanji
>Tfw you can only read hiragana so far
>Tfw people call you a weeb when you really just want to be a linguist
>Tfw I've studied arabic and several other languages as well but people still call me a weeb because I've been studying japanese recently
>Tfw you have yet to reach an acceptable threshold of fluency in any language except english and spanish (and that's only because I stayed in spain for a while and underwent immersion).
Why can't I memorize any of these ******* kanji ******* characters?
I'm not really sure how the Windows volume works (i only know it's really **** ), but, for example, in a digital environment the dynamics (volume range) ranges somewhere from -80dB to +6dB (depending on the bit depth). I don't know what unit of measurement the Windows volume uses, but it's obvious that 0 doesn't mean "off".
That coming Gangplank update, though.
He looks like his Roger is no longer Jolly.. At least they aren't changing his Q or oranges in a bad way. Dude's pretty much getting a buff with some of the updated things too.
I too enjoy critplank.
Nothing is more satisfying than a crit Q with full crit runes and an IE.
I was thinking about those E changes too. We'll see how it plays when it's released.
agreatusername
i've played a few games with him on the PBE and let me tell you, he's still fun as **** to play. his new E is ******* great. it adds great burst damage and the MS you get from denoting it is fantastic in running or chasing.
OOh no, you want crit chance, that way all you need is a phantom, statik, and IE and you have 100% crit chance.
That frees up 2 spots for damage, i use hydra and bloodthirster.
crits go for about 1k a pop on Q
I usually just get the statik, IE, and RH first, in that order. Then the other 2 (besides boots) are situational.
Usually ends up being an iceborn gauntlet and warmogs.
But with just those 3 items I can crit Q bitches for well over 1k. The crit damage runes make a surprising difference.
I've made a couple people rage quit before.
I also managed to carry a whole team with him once.
Got so fed and farmed early that I became unstoppable.
Critplank is just great.
I used to play him astankplank with pretty much a standard fighter build. Mostly defense and maybe 1 or 2 damage items, (frozen gauntlet, statik, visage, etc, etc...) statik would really be my only damage item, and hes just so boring that way, but you can basically freeze out the enemy top laner just by being there and keeping him occupied. I once sat in lane with a singed for 30 minutes before doing anything other than backing and buying. basically just keeping him out the the team fights as long as possible. Then my team cam and ruined it by trying to gank him "for me" when my whole plan was to keep him there so he couldnt assist in team fights.
Then we lost because he started wrecking my team.
Yeah, I play critplank a little similarly in lane.
Before going back the first time I just sit and passively farm with Q. Don't even bother to make any trades or fight the other guy, unless your jungler decides to go in for a gank.
I won't bother attempting to poke the other guy until I get the statik, at that point I can usually start harassing him out of lane if he isn't a tankier type.
With the runes a crit Q with a statik crit is just stupid early game.
Then I just stay farming as much as possible until the IE, then start roaming for some kills.
I've had quite a few bitch at me for farming as much as I do, but it is almost always worth it. Going for high CS gold income is more reliable than hoping for a lot of kills..
While agree on not changing his Q,and W im kind of on the fence about his E being changed, raise morale was a huge boost in team fights and tower killing early game.
At max level it was like a slightly downgraded vlad ult that hit everyone around you for a huge radius instead of that one spot.
I just started playing him as critplank instead of tankplank and this ability was a key part of his kit, as critplank.
granted exploding his barrels will still allow critical hits, it just wont be the same without his damage boost.
A lot of people are bitching about his passive giving true damage because theres no way to block it and im like "it already gave true damage..."
All in all im fairly excited for this update, however slightly anxious on what it will mean for me as a gangplank main.
Yeah, she's a good healer now but it's like Sion's rework. They changed it to where other than the visuals they could've passed it off as a new champion. **** I miss green Arnold.
Of course new Sion is good, he's pretty fun too. Still, the only thing he has in common with OG Sion is the fact that he has a shield and he can scale HP. Other than that, he lost the bonus AD on E, his godly ult, and the instant stun. I fear for when they rework Poppy in 30 years.
no no, I'm aware it got a buff. It went from self-healing to all healing. I'm just not sure if by "all healing" it means all healing received or anything involving healing, both incoming and outgoing. I mean, if it's the latter then visage may just have become a mandatory part of Soraka's gear. If it's the former then tanks and ADC's might pick this up if they have a healer on their team.
