Ubisoft has a pretty piss-poor track record these days, whereas Bethesda largely appeases all but the most hardcore of it player base except for the unfortunate mess that was Brink. We've seen a lot of Fallout 4's gameplay, and it looks very solid. If I remember right, they showed very little actual gameplay footage of Watchdogs, with mostly in-game cutscenes, and very little driving, which turned out to be the worst aspect of the game. Can you draw similar parallels between those failings and Fallout 4? I'm afraid both having E3 reveals isn't very compelling.

schneidend (10/11/2015) [-] From what I've seen, Fallout 4 is hitting a lot of good points for me, like more perks being available at low levels (a fire-themed perk, in particular), and the crafting and settlement building both look great. And, that's the rub. We've literally seen those in action. There's nothing "hype" about it, it's a real thing that exists, has been talked about and shown, and I'm excited for it.

All of this is grand, but I'm yet to see it actually work in the final product. I personally am trying to watch the least F4 updates as possible, just cause as much as that game is going to be good, it will NOT be as good as they are selling it to be. I know it cause Todd is telling us it's good.

It'll work in the final product more or less as we're seeing it, because it's only a month away. There's really no time to make major changes to the game. We already know things like full rifle stocks making the gun do more melee damage and be more stable when fired. These pictures don't even show all the parts, like the crank for the laser gun used in the gameplay footage. It will probably have perks to it that make it worth using even after you find some of these other upgrades, given it has its own animations that differ from how the laser rifle fired in previous games.

I even said: "as much as that game is going to be good" you ******* idiot. I'm shure the game is going to be good, heck I even can't wait for it to get out.
But what I have a problem with is Todd ******* Howard who ALWAYS ******* overhypes his games at presentations. Do you understand how this ****** up anyones expirience with the game? He says "Fallout 3 has over 200 endings" and were all like HOLY **** I'M GONNA GET THAT GAME NO MATTER THE PRICE CAUSE OF IT'S OBVIOUS REPLAYABILITY and then we get A ******* POWERPOINT PRESENTATION OF PICTURES IN DIFFRENT ORDER. And this is oversimplification of the problem, but this will have to do considering your simple minded thinking.
Furthermore "not watching or looking at any of the gameplay footage" is something you pulled out of your ass too cause if I recall correctly I wrote "I personally am trying to watch the least F4 updates as possible"
