I dunno, I learned the general patterns and mannerisms that many people use in speeches, in order to be able to look past them and see the content of the speech for what it actually is. Being able to make your own judgement in situations like these is a valuable skill. This talk is a lot more informative than he'd have you believe at first glance, with the overall satirical tone.
