guys maybe.....
maybe call of duty was doing something artistic by showing a similar (and great imo) scene in order to create a link between the two games that causes players who are familiar to the franchise to reflect on their past experience in enjoyment. Many games movies, and novels have this exact effect in them, but all you butt-hurt hipster faggots see is call of duty and go ahead and label it copy-pasting **** just because you don't like the way the game plays. Go ahead and give me red thumbs you cock-munching band wagoners, i don't really care.

tl;dr saying cod is ****** gets you easy thumbs, you thumb-whoring bastards

But they actually literally copy and pasted the same scene with different textures.

It would be one thing to draw a parallel, but what we have here is the EXACT same scene played out with different character models.

What better way to put the player in a familiar and comfortable place? I may be inclined to agree with you if the scene was less significant or if it was longer than 7seconds, but they make it pretty obvious what they are doing.
