I'd been to a number of war zones before in my life, but I had never been in one as terrifying as Chechnya.
Now, let's step away from Israel for about a week and me not being able to joke of their wars and let's get to the good stuff, the first Chechen War.
Now, you see that itty bitty tiny red dot on the lower left? Yeah that's Chechnya. The conflict started in December 1994
Now the conflict didn't start because a butterfly told a Russian troop to **** Chechnya, it started after the fall of the Soviet Union. In 1991 Chechen separatist declared independence from the Soviet Union, Boris Yeltsin said no, sent troops but where sent back when they were surrounded in the airport. In 1992 the independence movement split.
Now, in 1994, Russia wasn't going to let one of it's own parts leave so it began to mass troops by the border to squash any uprising and take control the region.
On the day of the invasion we had something interesting done by Russian Forces, many officers close to Yeltsin resigned in protest to the war. As much as 800 troops also refused to fight. A lot of ******* good that did. Here we have Muslim women praying that Russian troops wouldn't move to Gorzny, a lot more ******* good that did, because let me tell you, those troops reached it.
Russian morale was low and efforts to advance were disastrous, troops were under equipped and ill trained. When the Russians finally took an old Soviet Airfield next to the capital, Gorzny, it was a surprise.

Now, the first offensive to capture Gorzny was a defeat for the Russians, and it crushed Russian morale extensively. Even with air superiority, artillery and heavy armor support, Russian forces were having a difficult time capturing the city. Tens of thousands of civilians were killed by the fighting.

On Jan. 7, 1995 the Russian general was killed by a mortar round. Chechen resistance was getting pushed back. On Jan. 19, 1995 Russian troops reached the presidential palace, abandoned by Chechen rebels.

2,000 Russian soldiers were killed trying to capture the capital.

After heavy fighting, Russian troops were able to take the city. There was still some scattered resistance fighting but most of the city was under Russian control. Here we have them celebrating.
Now the Chechens were getting desperate, very desperate. They began taking mass hostages, plane hijackings, hell the damn Chechens began using child soldiers.
Russia did kill a couple thousand civilians in the invasion, however, I can't really show the image but there was an incident which i'm sure you sick bastards have already watch were Chechen rebels, like every muslim group and mexican cartel, beheaded 5 Russian POWs and one was shot in the back of the head. Pretty ******* gruesome, but typical islamic behavior. I mean it happened in England to a poor british soldier leaving his base. Sweden and Germany you've been warned.

How did it end? By the third battle of Grozny, there was a huge stalemate between both. There was a cease fire brokered by Gen. Alexander Lebed. This ended the first Chechen war.
Lot of Russians and Chechens died in this war, and moral for the Russians went down. But a lot of crimes happened and a lot of chechens died. It was a real dirty war.
I'd been to a number of war zones before in my life, but I had never been in one as terrifying as Chechnya.
